Sintra is a really charming place hidden up in the mountains, and it is definitely worth a visit during your Erasmus adventure in Lisbon!

With just a 40 minute train ride from Rossio train station you will find yourself in, in the words of Lord Byron, the "Glorious Garden of Eden", and it is our aim during this 4 hour tour to show you why it deserves this name. We will guide you through the winding streets of the town, sampling golden pastries and breathtaking views along the way, and learning about Sintra’s history of glowing goddesses of the moon, ancient dinosaurs and wealthy courtesans.

Quinta da Regaleira, surrounded by luxurious gardens filled with springs, fountains and lakes, as well as a huge number of exquisite constructions.

Sintra is also home to one of the most beautiful coastlines of Portugal, including the most western part of the European mainland, Cabo da Roca, with breathtaking atlantic ocean views!
