DESCRIPTION

The Season of the Gigantic Waves starts around the end of October, and continues until the beginning of March. The waves in Praia do Norte are famous for being some of the largest in the world!

This is the place where, in November 2011, the legendary Garrett McNamara surfed a record-breaking giant wave almost 24 meters high!

Nazaré’s Canyon and location presents us with a natural phenomenon that creates waves as high as 40 meters tall, every year!

Besides being known for its huge waves, Nazaré is a very cute and small village by the coast, with a old fishing tradition and a lot of connection to the ocean.

Nazaré is something that can only be described as breathtaking and you need to experience it by yourself!
