Enjoy the views and history of the Aqueduto das Águas livres and then follow us on a tour to the Monsanto park!
Aqueduto das Águas Livres is a National Monument, built for collecting and transporting water using gravity. Located in Alcantara the main course of the aqueduct covers 18 km, but the whole network of canals extends through nearly 58 km. A perfect opportunity to stroll and observe the most remarkable examples of 18th-century Portuguese engineering.
Monsanto is one of the lungs of the city of Lisbon with 1000 hectares of nature. In the park we find many options to spend a pleasant time as picnics in their enabled spaces or enjoy the views of their four viewpoints. It is also the perfect place to exercise like skateboarding, cycling, running, basketball... It also has many spaces for the little ones. Without a doubt it is a very nice place to visit and enjoy the fall season in Lisbon.
