Yes you can, WTF SIM card is a monthly pre-paid SIM card and provides different offers that you can choose from when you put the SIM card in your phone, just by going to the WTF website that you will receive in a text message, with your 3G connection turned on and Wi-Fi turned off. So the plans are:
T PLAN is 11,80€ per month and includes: 1GB Internet; unlimited texts and 1000 min to any Portuguese network + 5 GB of youtube and spotify
F PLAN is 16,80€ per month and includes: 5 GB Internet; unlimited texts and 5000 min to any Portuguese network + 5 GB of youtube and spotify

Yes sure, the Erasmus Card makes you part of our Erasmus family and it is for every international student or trainee or worker doing an exchange program in Lisbon. The Erasmus Life Lisboa card gives you access to a lot of discounts in our national trips, our parties and all of our partners: language courses, surf schools, gyms, bank, rent-a- car and many others. In order to get the card you have to come to our office located in Erasmus corner. The ERASMUS LIFE LISBOA card costs 15 euros, and if you need a Portuguese SIM card you get as an offer a WTF mobile card charged with the first month (T plan) for 25€.
You can top up your phone in our office or any NOS store by cash and if you have a Portuguese bank account you can top up in any ATM.
Yes, we can! Erasmus Life Lisboa has a partnership with Activo Bank by Millenium where you can open a Portuguese Bank account. You just need to come to our office to get the Erasmus Form which costs 5€ (only cost of opening the bank account). The account does not have any maintenance or cancellation fee and it's specially useful to charge your phone or pay the rent as it charges no fee for payments or bank transfers. Usually other banks request a NIF number (tax payer number) but Activo Bank makes a temporary NIF specific for the opening of bank account (valid for EU citizens) and it is more flexible regarding the documents you need to present when you deliver the form: ID/Passport; Proof of address in your home country (for this in some countries the address is written on the ID or Passport. If not, you can require some documents from the bank from your country or your faculty); and a deposit of 100€ (this amount will be in your account and you can withdraw it, it’s yours, you just need to make this deposit or transfer to activate your account). After you have the form in Erasmus Office, you need to take it to Activo Bank in Rua Garrett 68 (less than 10min walking from our office).

If you are looking for a low cost gym for workout check out “Time to Fitness 24”, this gym is open 24 hours, every day, and with Erasmus Life Lisboa card and the voucher of your Welcome Book (you can get in the office or in your faculty) you can get 3 months of gym for just 39,99€ (that’s less than 14€ per month!).
You can learn how to surf in “Centro Internacional de Surf” in Costa da Caparica Beach and in Carcavelos Beach (more information soon). To book a lesson you just need to register in this form (https://goo.gl/mx4X4R) with the day you want to go. Surf schedule changes weekly because it depends on the weather. For stay in contact with other surfers join ELL Surf Family on facebook.
With the Erasmus Life Lisboa card the surf lessons you can get discount also in surf lessons: 12,5€ during the week and 15€ during the weekends. Without the Erasmus Life Lisboa card it will be 25€ per lesson.
If you are new in Lisbon and don't know how to get to Carcavelos Beach or Costa da Caparica Beach, in september there will be 2 surf days, where the Erasmus Life Lisboa staff will guide you!

Yes of course! Erasmus Life Lisboa has partnership with a Lisbon Language School that provides two types of studying process. Intensive and extensive courses of 30 hours. The first one last around 2 weeks and classes are held every day from Monday to Friday (two/three hours sessions) while the second one course classes are held two times a week. Group range is from 6 to 10 which creates perfect learning conditions. Schedule is flexible and depends on students availability. To get more information check our “Partners & Discounts” tab.
We always recommend to register as soon as possible because so many students wants to learn Portuguese and the courses fill up very quickly!
